Let’s get started by first clearing your space of any unwanted energy. This can be done with a very common sage smudging technique. Light your sage but allow the flame to go out so that smoke is released.  Begin to move the sage in a circular clockwise motion and allow it to surround your body so that all negativity can be cleared from you. Next, move to your front door and with the same circular motion begin to move around the door frame and continue into every corner of the first room. Continue this process going from space to space, taking care to cover each doorway and window in your home. Once you feel you have covered your entire space from end to end, you can let the sage go out and move on to the candle and stone ceremony.

Begin by focusing your awareness on the spark of white light in the center of your body. Find this light shining like your own personal pilot light glowing from your inner spirit. See this light and allow it to become larger and larger until your entire body is engulfed and protected within this light. Feel the warmth of this energy fill your entire being with peace and love.

Now let’s move to the first chakra, the root chakra. This is the energy of your home, career and family. Place your heart stone on or near you and light your candle. Focus your thoughts on the circular red light at the base of your spine. See and feel this energy spinning in a clockwise direction and getting brighter with each turn. Take a deep breath, illuminate the energy even more and then say “I am strong. I am healthy. I am safe and secure.” See and feel this energy expand. Take another deep breath and repeat your mantra until you see and feel the root chakra open, bright and pure.

Next, move your focus up your spine about 4 inches. See an orange circular light rotating in the same clockwise direction as your root chakra. This is your sacral chakra. This is the energy of your carnal needs and desires. Place your heart stone on or near you and light your candle. Visualize the spinning energy and allow it to spin faster and brighter as you breathe. Take a deep breath, illuminate the energy even more and say “I am beautiful, perfect, balanced and complete.” See and feel the energy expand within you. Take another deep breath and repeat your mantra until you see and feel the sacral chakra open, bright and pure.

After another deep breath, move your attention to the throat area. You will see and feel a beautiful light blue light spinning in a clockwise motion. This is your throat chakra and it is the energy of your creative side as well as your truth in life. Place your heart stone on or near you and light your candle. See and feel this vibrant spinning energy and allow it to spin faster and brighter with each turn. Take another deep breath, illuminate the energy even more and say “I speak my truth. I live my truth.” Feel the energy expand within you. Take another deep breath and repeat your mantra until you see and feel the throat chakra open, bright and pure.

Now draw your focus to the area around your forehead. See and feel the energy start as a point about an inch above your nose. Expand the light through your head to the back of your ears. This is your third eye chakra. This is where you receive answers when the knowledge is unknown. This is commonly referred to as your intuition. See and feel a dark blue circular light rotating within you. Allow it to spin faster and brighter as you breathe. Take another deep breath, illuminate the energy even more and repeat “I trust my inner vision. I see. I sense. I know.” See and feel this energy expand. Take another deep breath and repeat your mantra until you see and feel the third eye chakra open, bright and pure.

Take another deep breath and move your focus to the area on top of your head. This is your crown chakra, where our energy connects to the universe and higher powers within. See and feel a beautiful purple circle spinning in a bright clockwise direction. Illuminate this energy and allow it to spin brighter and faster like a brilliant lotus flower. Take a deep breath and say “I am one with the universe and I am at peace.” See and feel this energy expand. Take another deep breath and repeat your mantra until you see and feel the crown chakra open, bright and pure.

Now you are fully illuminated and awakened. As you go about your day you will bring positive energy to each situation you encounter.
